MagFlex® 12.7mm Wide Flexible Magnetic Tape - Foam Self-Adhesive
MagFlex® magnetic tape is self-adhesive and pliable, designed to provide a strong grip on magnetic metal based surfaces. Ideal for a diverse range of light weight applications.
MagFlex® sheets are not suitable for sticking magnets to as the strong magnetic field will realign the magnetic particles in the sheet. View our FerroFlex® sheets if you need a surface to stick magnets to.
Please note, our adhesive backed tapes are not recommended for outdoor use as weather conditions can affect their adhesion.

- Available in 1, 5, 30 and 5x 30 metre lengths
- 12.7mm wide x 1.5mm thick tape (approx. 2.5mm thick including foam adhesive
- Striped North – South magnetic field (3mm pole pitch)
- 90g of pull force per cm length (71g/cm2)
- PE self-adhesive foam
- Tape is black coloured on magnetic face.
MagFlex® magnetic tape is easily cut and effortlessly sticks onto variety of surfaces, including many plastics.
If your project requires tape to tape attraction, in order to avoid issues with misalignment use polarity A with polarity B magnetic tape.
MagFlex® tapes utilise a firm acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive that substantially increases in bond strength with natural aging. While the initial touch bond strength is enough to keep the grip secure, to ensure the adhesive can withstand the pull strength we recommend allowing between 24 to 32 hours for the adhesive to fully cure.
