Especially designed for divers, our popular diving magnets are the perfect solution for the intrepid diver who wishes to attach their lines to underwater ferrous material. The super-strong N42 Neodymium pot magnet is strong enough to provide a secure hold but is also easily removed by pulling the aluminium handle. Neodymium pot magnets are made of a powerful Neodymium magnet sunken in to a steel shell meaning that the north pole is on the centre of the magnetic face and the south pole is on the outer edge around it. The steel pot increases the adhesive force of the magnets giving them an incredible hold for their size. An added advantage of pot magnets is that they are resistant to chipping or cracking following constant impact with a steel surface. If more pull strength is required, the diving magnet is supplied pre-drilled and tapped so another identical pot magnet can be added. These magnets come with a safe-handling warning; because they are so powerful they can be dangerous if not handled carefully.
