These magnets are made from a high-temperature material which can operate in temperatures up to 180 degrees Celsius. Because these magnets are weakly magnetised they are not suitable for weight-bearing applications, but instead are commonly used in sensors and other similar applications. Because these magnets are magnetised with their poles on opposite faces, they produce a deeper magnetic field than similar magnets magnetised with a striped polarity.
