  • 3mm diameter x 0.5mm thick.
  • Each magnet's north and south pole are on opposite 3mm diameter faces.
  • Each magnet can support a steel weight of up to 0.08kg vertically from the magnetic face when in flush contact with a mild steel surface.
  • Excellent resistance to demagnetisation.
  • Coated with three layers of nickel, copper and nickel to reduce corrosion and provide a smooth finish.

These small Neodymium disc magnets at 3mm x 0.5mm are the second smallest in our range after our 1mm diameter x 1mm thick Neodymium magnets. These magnets produce a similar pull strength to our 1mmx 1mm magnets, even though they are only half the thickness. When used to attract another magnet, rather than a metal surface such as steel the pull strength between the two magnets will be effectively double.

These particular magnets are ideal for craft and model-making projects, plus, every magnet has a triple coating of nickel, copper and nickel again to prevent against corrosion. Our Neodymium magnets are commonly used in creative applications such as models and theatre design, clothes making, furniture making, exhibition stands and packaging. They also have many uses in engineering and manufacturing where small size and maximum strength are required. What's more, because of their resistance to demagnetisation they are ideal for creating a shock-absorbing or damping effect when used to repel other magnets.
