  • A pack of 1, 4, 20 or 40 magnets
  • 50mm x 50mm x 25mm thick with a 8.2mm diameter countersunk hole on either side for fixing
  • Excellent 84kg Pull
  • Rubber Coated
  • Can be fixed in place with a countersink screw
  • N42 Grade Neodymium
  • Excellent resistance to demagnetisation and corrosion

This magnet is little larger than a block of post-it notes but incredibly produces an astonishing pull of 84kg. These magnets are so strong that they will wipe data from hard drives and are commonly used in large scale engineering projects such as wind turbines. They come with the convenience of a countersunk hole, meaning they can be screwed into place against a surface. Countersunk magnets with opposite facing poles can be used to attract two surfaces, or two opposing countersunk magnets with the same poles facing can be used to create a damping, shock absorbing or repelling effect. This is one of the strongest countersunk magnets available on the market.

The magnet's rubber coating increases the amount of friction against a ferrous material and protects it from water corrosion. Additionally, the coating makes it ideal for attracting to fragile or easily marked surfaces because it softens the impact and prevents marking.

Please note, these magnets should only be handled by people who are used to handling strong magnets and once a thorough risk assessment has been undertaken as they will easily crush trapped fingers causing serious injury.
