Using A Magnet To Support Antennae

Magnets are commonly used in industrial applications to clamp and secure materials; however, our magnets can be used for this same reason in everyday life and Tony from eventpahire has been in touch to show us how magnets have helped his business.

Eventpahire, provide high-quality outdoor sound equipment hire services and public address systems for small to medium-sized events. Recently Eventpahire decided to consider using magnets to secure and support the Ultra High-Frequency antennae on the roof of their company van.

They attached their M8 Rod Couplers to our 88mm dia x 8mm thick Black Rubber Coated Magnet to tighten the clamps onto.

The high-strength, soft-touch magnets are designed for fixing and holding heavy objects without marking the ferrous surface. The 49kg pull strength is important in windy locations considering the surface area of the antennae.

We would like to thank Tony for getting in touch and sharing her story with us. If you are currently working on a project or could use some advice, our team would love to hear from you!
