Photographic Box Magnets

Keeping your photos safe and in good condition is important to almost everyone. With so many digital cameras and printers now available it is easy to lose track of all those found family photographs and fun holiday moments.

Phillip from Bristol contacted us to share his latest project and tell us how he had used our magnets in his own photographic storage solution.

Phillip had created a selection of handmade, finely detailed wooden storage boxes for storing individual photographic prints and photo albums. These finely crafted wooden boxes were designed with a hinged lid that allowed easy access to the photographs contained within. To ensure that the boxes did not simply swing open Phillip used a selection of 6mm diameter circular disc magnets in an attracting pair configuration to form a strong fastener when the boxes were closed.

As you can see from the photographs Phillip shared with us, the magnets were countersunk into both the lid and base of the boxes to form a flush, lasting home for the magnets. This is truly a very nice way to store your own personal memories.
