We are thrilled with the news that we have been nominated for 3 separate awards at this years Newark Business Awards!
Magnet Expert Ltd, the parent company of FIRST4MAGNETS®, has been nominated for Large Business of the Year, Customer Care and our Managing Director, Matthew Ellis-Mather has been nominated for Businessperson of the Year! This fantastic news comes shortly after Matthew’s win at the FSB East Midlands Awards, where he was announced as the Young Entrepreneur of the Year.
The Newark Business Awards are designed to recognise the achievements of local businesses and allow for the opportunity to showcase their work and celebrate their success.
The Awards
The Customer Care award recognises firms that display excellence of customer service, providing a customer centric focus, and ensuring that high levels of customer service are monitored with measures put in place to ensure these are maintained.
The award for Large Business of the Year looks at those that demonstrate business excellence and leadership, commitment to the local community, and proven success with strategy to pave the way for further business growth.
The Businessperson of the Year award is designed to recognise individuals that have made outstanding contributions which have allowed them to stand out from the crowd, paired with entrepreneurial spirit and the ability to inspire others around them.
2019 has been a fantastic year so far for Matthew and the business, with award wins and Radio appearances, as we look to take the business onto further success and increasing awareness of the company and magnetics.
Managing Director Matthew Ellis-Mather spoke of his excitement at the news of the 3 nominations:

Matthew and the team will now be interviewed by judges as part of the final stage before the winner is announced at the Lady Eastwood Centre at Newark Showground on Friday 21st June, which is expected to be attended by around 400 people from thriving local businesses.
