Who loves nothing more than having a good old steam in the shower? However, over time your shower door can become worn. This can lead to the door not closing properly, which can cause your shower to leak. Our quick DIY trick will fix your shower in no time! All you will need is some of our Magflex, FerroFlex, measuring tape and some scissors.
Step 1
Clean and remove any old fixing or sealant from the opening side of your shower door and shower frame.
Step 2
Measure the opening side of your shower frame. Then measure out some of our Ferroflex and cut to size of the shower frame.
Step 3
Then peel the adhesive back from the Ferroflex tape and stick to the shower frame. Leave the tape to cure for 24-32 hours.
Step 4
Measure the opening side of the shower door. Then measure out some of our Magflex and cut to size of the shower door.
Step 5
Then peel the adhesive back from the Magflex tape and stick to the shower frame. Leave the tape to cure for 24-32 hours.
Step 6
Once both tapes have cured over 24-32 hours. You can close your shower door and use as normal. This hack creates a secure closure and prevents your shower door from slamming when closed.
