First4magnets supports national homelessness charity Crisis

Over the Christmas period Crisis welcomed more than 4,000 homeless people in from the cold across the UK, and throughout 2016 a further 10,000 homeless people will learn, find jobs and build confidence; helping them leave homelessness behind for good. All because of the work done by the charity and it’s 10,000 volunteers.

In our December newsletter, we pledged to make a donation from every order placed over the Christmas period to this very worthy cause and have subsequently donated £250 to the charity.

Matthew Ellis, Managing Director at first4magnets said: “There are many causes that are close to the hearts of our staff and particularly over the Christmas period our thoughts turn to those that are less fortunate than ourselves. As a business, we feel a responsibility to help where we can and our donation to Crisis is our way of giving a little something back.

“Just £10 can provide a warm welcome and help someone take the first steps out of homelessness. We hope that with our donation we have helped 25 people take those first important steps and look forward to continuing our support of the amazing work that Crisis does in 2016 and beyond.”
