First4magnets.com employee puts best foot forward for charity

Sherryl Etches, Warehouse Operative, at Nottinghamshire-based first4magnets.com completed the Clumber Park Race for Life on Saturday, 22 June 2013, raising in excess of £400 for Cancer Research UK.

Sherryl ran the 10k race with her daughter, Cathryn, in memory of her mum, and a number of family friends that have sadly lost their battle to cancer in recent years.

On crossing the finishing line, Sherryl said “It feels great to have done my bit and raise some money for Cancer Research UK. Like so many others, my family has been affected by cancer and to have completed the race with so many other women including my daughter Cathryn feels really great.”

All of Sherryl’s colleagues at first4magnets.com, a leading UK supplier of magnets and magnetic assemblies, are really proud of her and were more than happy to sponsor her for the race.
