DIY MAGNETIC STOVE WAND
Planning a bonfire? Or do you have a small fireplace or log burner in your home? If so, this magnetic stove wand can make cleaning out ferrous items such as metal shavings & screws a lot less hassle, and prevents you getting your hands dirty!
Using some countersunk magnets, wood, and a piece of cut pipe, The Restoration Couple’s Tim has created this portable magnetic stove wand!
Having got the materials required, Tim began by creating three deep holes in the wood, allowing him to fix his countersunk magnets inside the length of wood, flush with the edge.
Tim then filled over the magnets and painted the length of wood before using a cut piece of pipe not only as a handle but as a way of scrapping all ferrous materials away from the magnets, running it along the wooden dowel.
